This video from the Telegraph highlights how the UK government is looking at making UK prostitution illegal and the new changes will also effect owners and workers in strip clubs.
The home secretary is pushing this proposal forward but she does have many people opposing her plans for the oldest profession in the world. It is this proposal that if it is put in place will effect other business such as lap dancing clubs which are currently being run as normal bars to make them outlawed.
Lap dancing has seen a huge growth in the UK and this might all end as these lap dancing clubs will be seen as sex entertainment for sale in the new legislation. The other reason for tightening up on strip clubs come through Police investigations that reveals that female strippers are being subjected exploitation and also being pushed into prostitution to make this business a real money earner.
This new profession, strip dancing, is free to operate at the moment and has also had much support since the new plans to ban it direct from the female strippers that work in this industry saying that any such action would be met by great opposition.
