Well well well, if it does not come at a time where entrepreneurial people are finding a way to make a legite amounts of money in these hard times of recession and make money for the people that work for them that the big fish come along and want to crush them!
The legal team of the company responsible for the popular TV show American Idol co-hosted by the also popular Simon Cowell is suing the owners of the Bubbaland topless bar. So you are probably asking why on Earth are the big fish or more appropriately ‘the Sharks’ targetting the small fish? The answer lies in what goes on in Babbland’s topless bar on a weekly basis. Every week a contest by the name of “Stripper Idol” featuring amateur strippers doing the sexy strip acts and are judged by the audience and not any official judges. At the end of this amateur dance night one of the chosen strippers is given the title of ‘Stripper Idol’ and a cash prize of $500.
A law suit has already been filed in U.S. District Court by FremantleMedia North America with the case being on the basis that Palazio Men’s Club situated on Ben White Boulevard near Interstate 35 is actually a ” ‘gentleman’s club’ at which women remove off their clothes while dancing to music (obviously eluding to them as being strippers) and infact the amateur dancers actually are referred to by Defendants as strippers.

What do you think should small fish be subjected to court cases like this? Is Stripper Idol seriously on a large enough scale to tarnish the name of American Idol? Has this publicity brought by American Idol themselves infact going to tarnish their own name now that millions will know that Stripper Idol exists? Your views please…..
